Sri Lankan born
SINGER / ENTERTAINER / ENTREPRENEUR.
Eddie is a professional and highly polished Stage Performer
who has been in the Entertainment Industry for more
than 30 years. |
During his career
as a Professional Singer, Eddie has made some highlight
appearances. Special Guest Artist at Hobart’s
WRESTPOINT CASINO & Melbourne CHEVRON HILTON,
numerous Night Clubs, and Major Clubs in Victoria, Queensland,
Tasmania, and New South Wales. |
Eddie was also featured
three times at the MCG for the one-day Cricket Series and
performed to a crowd of 50,000 to 85,000 people. |
Eddie was specially
featured several times at MOOMBA, BALLARAT BEGONIA FESTIVAL,
LYGON STREET FESTA, GEELONG SPRING DING FESTIVAL and
other big Annual Festivals around Australia. |
Eddie is a music
lover and a devoted Elvis Fan, and his first love is
GOSPEL MUSIC. |
In the past, Eddie
incorporated a cross-section of music styles like Calypso,
Reggae, Country, Rock & Roll, and Soul in his Concert
performances. |
At the present time,
Eddie together with his new formed Spiritual Backing
Group “The SINGING INSPIRATIONS” , concentrate
on exclusively performing ELVIS GOSPEL MUSIC, showing
off the true side of Elvis — ”ELVIS the King
of Gospel”. |
Eddie is the very
first Elvis Tribute Artist to perform a total ELVIS
GOSPEL TRIBUTE SHOW In Australia. The show is a touching
and thrilling spiritual performance. The show includes
the best and most loved Gospel Songs of Elvis Presley. |
The Show is booked
to appear at several Venues in Australia. A major Australian
Tour is planned, and Overseas visits is also on the
Programme for 2006 |

| Personal Details: |
- Eddie is married, and has three children.
- Eddie, his wife Sylvia and 12 year old son Daniel
live in Narre Warren, Victoria.
- Eddie’s married daughters Samantha &
Simone are part of his backing vocal group, and both
are professional Singing Teachers.
Samantha teaches for the JAANZ School of Singing in
Pearcedale (Vic.) and Simone runs her own School ELITE SCHOOL OF SINGING in Burwood
(Sydney NSW).
- Eddie and his entire family are devoted Christians,
and at every opportunity Eddie unashamedly professes his faith and the Good
News (Gospel) of JESUS CHRIST.
- Eddie has also made several appearances as a GOSPEL
SINGER / PREACHER / MISSIONARY
and EVANGELIST at Churches in Australia, India, Sri
Lanka, Singapore, and Japan.
